Silver, gold or platinum discs are awarded to participants who achieve a certain number of record sales, but due to streaming and other factors the music industry has changed dramatically over the last decade and nowadays it is often the case that an artist, producer, remixer or songwriter may well hit the heights of achieving a #1 or Top 10 Chart Hit without actually hitting the unit sales to qualify for a Performing Right Society (BMI/PRS etc)  awarded disc.

We can now award those certified as having achieved a Chart Hit in one of the Internationally recognised charts in the same way as with the Billboard charts.
